All level vinyasa
Vinyasa yoga links postures together with breath. Asanas include sun salutations, standing poses, seated poses, balance poses, hip openers and many others. This class is open to all levels.
Yogic sequences will be covered at a slower pace with more detailed alignment instruction. This class is open to all levels and is oriented toward beginners.
Suitable for all levels, yin yoga complements the dynamic and muscular (yang) styles of yoga that emphasize the lengthening and strengthening of muscles and their tendons. Yin yoga targets the connective tissues (fascia and ligaments) of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine.
Yin practice can be challenging due to the long duration of the poses. In order to stretch connective tissues, postures are typically held from three to five minutes. This class offers modifications to make all yin postures accessible. During the long holds of yin, pranayama, yogic meditation, and mindfulness are practiced.
